We're Back, Folks

We're Back, Folks

This is one I've been waiting to write for a while.

The Farm will return for our very first full season on April 13th! After a short couple months of operation back in the summer (we call it Season 0), we took everything we learned to gear up for an amazing season of airsoft. That means new cover, new game modes, new map areas, new food, better parking, better signage, better events, better... well... just new and better in every way!

If you caught our last couple of blog posts you know a few of these updates, but to rehash the biggest one: Online ticket sales are no longer! We've gone walk-on only as we've expanded our field and parking space to allow for a much larger crowd.

We're also very excited for our players to try out some new game modes we've cooked up over the winter. All your favorites like the forever chaotic Capture the Flag, or the intense Attack/Defend will be returning and revamped (we actually have a flag now!!) as well as a new format of multi-objective game mode that will span a larger area, be more objective oriented, and will last for much longer.

And another announcement we are very excited to make is a new category of gun: Machine Pistols! All you Raffica and AAP-01 owners have made your voices heard, and we're going to be allowing full auto 3-5 round bursts with machine pistols that shoot under 1.0j! To classify as a machine pistol, your gun must have a maximum of a 6" barrel and be stockless. The pistol must also use the original type of magazine (IE No aftermarket HPA drum mag/M4 mag adapters, stock drum mags such as the AAP-01 and GTP-9 drum mag will qualify) to qualify for full auto fire. Clear out those CQB areas with your favorite little brrt brrt machine. Please keep in mind, this rule is new and experimental, if we find players abusing the rule, or if we see an uptick of overshooting complaints, we will have to rework this one. So, don't be a dick, have fun, and go flick that G18 into full auto and send some BBs down range.

We'll also be hosting a BIG build weekend on the 6th and 7th of April to gear up for the season opener, keep your eyes peeled for more information on that.

Thank you to every single person who has helped us get this far, and we hope we can continue to bring you memorable and fun airsoft games for many years to come! See y'all on the 13th.
