Spooky Scary Samurai

Well folks, we made it. The unofficial season closer of our first ever season at The Farm. To close it off we wanted to do something memorable and fun, which is why we're so very happy that our halloween game went as well as it did!

Thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of our players, our Costume Contest was a smashing success and something we'll be repeating in years to come. From Samurai to Fat Mario, all the participants on Sunday battled it out on the field and in the costume contest. In the end our winner went to the samurai, with a very spooky skeleton, and fat mario as the runners up. 

We also had our first ever pumpkin carving contest to let our players show off their artistic skills. Watching the pumpkin face was quickly turned to mush by LMG fire is when we learned: Airsofters have no artistic skills.

Also many thanks to our samurai who volunteered to be a juggernaut for a game! Instead of an LMG? How about a katana and the ability to sprint after players? That was a fun combination. At least for us to watch, maybe less-so for the poor players hunted down by the vengeful ghost of history's greatest warriors.

To close off, we'd like to reiterate something we said before our field opened in August. Thank you. This field is the combination of the dedication, love, and passion for creativity that we've always loved about the airsoft community. From the folks who would stop by to drop off materials just because they wanted to, to the folks who were at our field every. single. weekend. You guys made this possible for us, and we cannot wait to keep providing everyone with the best airsoft experience we can manage.

We will be closed the weekend of the 4th and 5th (Operation Last Stand is happening at Ultimate Paintball, go to that on the 5th), but our last hurrah of open play will be the 11th and 12th! We will always be available for private bookings throughout the entire season, get your friends together to come rent out the field for some snow games later this year.
